Welsh for the Family

The Welsh for Adults Centres throughout Wales have a brand new course to help parents learn Welsh with their children. The emphasis is on using Welsh with children under seven and includes games and activities to encourage interaction between parents and children.

Bridgend Foodbank

Bridgend Foodbank is part of a network of over 60 foodbanks, started by the Trussell Trust, a Christian charity, who opened the first foodbank in Salisbury in 1999. It is now a franchise with projects right across the UK and Bridgend Foodbank opened its doors at the beginning of December 2009. The project was first initiated by the Well Christian Centre in December 2008, but is now supported by many of the churches in the town, and other local organisations
