Calling all Young People
New free accredited arts training
Would you like to get involved in music, dance, theatre, singing and much more?
Bridgend County Borough Council are offering free accredited arts training for 16 to 18 year olds in the New Year.
As part of the Arts & Culture Service's development of the Creative Industries Training Scheme and Bridgend Youth Dance, young people aged 16 -18 years will be given the unique opportunity to study for Open College Network arts qualifications in the New Year FREE!
The course will cover stage management, props and scenery, lighting and set design, public address PA system, setting up and running a vocal PA and back line. Members of Bridgend Youth Dance will study contemporary dance technique, vocabulary and styles.

Bridgend Youth Theatre now has over 500 members aged 5 - 25 years, with workshops in The Grand Pavilion, Porthcawl and the Berwyn Centre in Nantymoel. Members have performed to high acclaim throughout Bridgend County Borough.
